TEAM LEADER
No matter the market conditions, buying or selling real estate is a major decision. Choosing the right agent is key to ensuring a successful outcome. You deserve a trusted advisor with deep market knowledge, a strong network, plus the resources, strength and leverage to meet and exceed your goals.
With over 25 years in the Lowcountry and a full-time Daufuskie Island resident since 2012, Erica brings unparalleled expertise to her clients. She understands zoning, permitting, property management, contractors, vendors, marine transportation, schools, community initiatives and politics, ensuring her people can save time and money navigating the island and its nuances as seamlessly as possible.
Since returning to real estate in 2014 after transitioning from her family brokerage to go to college, Erica has closed over 100 transactions. From Haig Point to the Historic District, and everything in between, she is skilled in negotiation, contract execution, creative financing, logistics and lifestyles, with a focus on equestrian living. Her earned experience working alongside top luxury agents in Palmetto Bluff, Belfair, Colleton River, Spring Island, Sea Pines and beyond has given her a unique perspective, with the fundamentaly underlying theme that wise real estate investing is the key to wealth, epscially when you are starting from scratch.
Her strong work ethic was shaped by early exposure to her family’s trucking, construction, brokerage and interior design businesses. After high school, she moved from Green Bay to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied graphic design, competed on the equestrian team, and gained a deep appreciation for Lowcountry lifestyle ways, especially architecture, design, hospitality, and horse sports.
Beyond real estate, Erica is the founder of the Daufuskie Marsh Tacky Society, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the critically endangered South Carolina State Heritage Horse in the context of its native habitat through eqwuine oriented programs that benefit the public. One of her proudest achievements includes restoring the historic Simmons House, a Gullah-Geechee cottage that now serves as an educational landmark.
As a member of the Damian Hall Group at Maxey Blackstream Christie’s International Real Estate, Erica delivers luxury service with world-class marketing, meticulous attention to detail, and an expansive international network. Whether buying or selling, she is committed to providing a bespoke, VIP experience and delivering exceptional results for her clients who are also becoming a part of her neighborhood and community.
